We can offer a range of excellent self catering facilities in holiday chalets overlooking Widemouth Bay. As part of the South Coastal walking network there is a range of scenic walking routes within easy distance including the following:

• Widemouth and Bude. Fabulous coast and surfing bay followed by an inland canal walk.


• Crackington Haven. A personal favourite: this is a good walk through pretty woodland then spectacular coastal views and the beach itself, where two rivers meet and flow over rocks to the sea.


• Boscastle. Now recovered from the well publicised floodings this pretty village and harbour is well worth a visit offering a varied walk of woodland and cliff scenery.


• Tintagel. Now we are talking. Can be a half or full day walk with great scenery both inland and coastal culminating in the glorious Tintagel castle.


• Port Quin and Port Isaac (as seen on Doctor Martin). A demanding walk but worth it for the views alone.


• Bossiney and the Rocky Valley. A strenuous walk rewarded by a dramatic coastline.


• Hartland.Close to Clovelly providing stunning coastal views.

Other areas:

• Rock provides great views of the estuary and Padstow over the water.


• Bodmin moor provides a range of excellent trails.


• The Camel Trail part of the sustrans network is popular with walkers and cyclists alike.

Plus many more in this area of natural beauty, and can be enjoyed throughout the seasons with autumn and winter adding a rugged drama to all the walks.
